Requirements and control principles for the quality of stamping parts
Since stamping parts have developed towards large-scale and complex development, the quality requirements for stamping parts have become increasingly stringent. In order to achieve these goals, stamping parts manufacturers have put forward relevant quality control principles, which are reflected in precision, fineness and exquisiteness.
In order to meet the precision principle of stamping parts, the number of processes of deep drawing parts needs to be determined through deep drawing process calculation, because it is not only related to factors such as material properties, deep drawing height, and number of deep drawing steps, but also involves conditions such as deep drawing diameter and material thickness.
The second is the fine principle of stamping parts. As a bending part, the number of processes mainly depends on the complexity of its structural shape. Therefore, it needs to be determined based on the number of bending angles, relative position and bending direction.
Since the requirements of precision and fineness have been achieved, the exquisite principle cannot be ignored. When the cross-sectional quality and dimensional accuracy of stamping parts are required to be high, it can be considered to add a finishing process after the punching process, or directly adopt a precision punching process to obtain exquisite stamping parts.
When making simple stamping parts, a single-process mold can be used. However, when punching complex workpieces, due to the limited structure or strength of the mold, its inner and outer contours should be punched in several parts, so multiple metal stamping processes are required. If necessary, a continuous mold can be used.
In order to ensure the quality of precision metal stamping parts and improve the stability of the process, it is common to increase the number of processes, such as additional positioning process hole punching of bent parts, and additional deformation reduction hole punching in the forming process to transfer the deformation zone, which can indeed help improve the quality of stamping parts.
